Peter Kuhn PhD, Founder

Director, USC Michelson Convergent Science Institute in Cancer University of Southern California

Peter is Professor at USC and the principal behind the PiNK Test. He is a scientist, educator and entrepreneur with a career-long commitment to personalized medicine and individualized cancer patient care. He is focused on the redesign of cancer care. The first product from technology developed by Dr. Kuhn became available for prostate cancer care in June 2016. Dr. Kuhn’s strategy is to advance our understanding of the human body to improve the human condition for those affected by cancer. His research is shedding new light at how cancer spreads through the body and evolves over time. This new science leads to a personalized care strategy that is biologically informed and clinically actionable. Dr. Kuhn has published over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts and his work has been cited over 22k times. His research has resulted in the creation of multiple companies including Epic Sciences and Cansera.

Jay Wohlgemuth MD, Diagnostic Strategy

Former Quest Diagnostics CMO

Jay is a seasoned leader in healthcare innovation and brings his deep expertise in diagnostics to guide PiNK Test’s development. His endeavors encompassing diagnostic testing, medical devices, virtual care and digital health, pharmaceutical and companion diagnostics development. Dr. J served as CMO, CSO and SVP for Quest Diagnostics over a period of 14 years. In that role, he was responsible for R&D, Medical Affairs, Medical Quality and Regulatory. He also ran Quest’s self-insured health plan for over 60,000 members as well as the Employer Population Health business. Dr. J ran Quest’s scientific and medical response to Covid-19 and received a C. Everett Koop Award for best population health program in 2020 for his work with Quest’s employee health plan.

He served as CMO of HealthTap, a virtual care company and he worked previously for Genentech / Roche as the development team leader for Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) in multiple sclerosis and rheumatology and director of diagnostics for programs outside of oncology. Dr. J was co-founder, CMO and VP R&D for CareDx, a leader in testing for transplant patients, for which he was awarded Technology Pioneer 2005 at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He served as chairman of the board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition.

Dr. J grew up in Oklahoma and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard College and his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also served a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine. He serves as Trustee of the Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation which focuses on providing for basic human needs in Oklahoma.

Jennifer Dickey PhD,
Regulatory Strategy

Head of Regulatory & Quality at PGDx

Jennifer provides strategic advices on navigating the regulatory landscape for PiNK Test. She is the Head of Regulatory & Quality at Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx), now a part of Labcorp Oncology. Dr. Dickey leads regulatory submissions of tissue and plasma-based next generation sequencing oncology panels. Prior to coming to PGDx, Dr. Dickey was a senior reviewer in the Office of In Vitro Diagnostics and Radiological Health (OIR now OHT7) at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) where she led the review of submissions in the Molecular Genetics Branch. Dr. Dickey obtained her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and was a post-doctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute.

Joelle Kaufman MBA,
Go-to Market Strategy

Former Bloomreach CMO

Joelle advises on the go-to market strategy for PiNK Test through her industry insights. She was the first CMO of Bloomreach, Adify and WorkBoard and the long-term executive leader at Dynamic Signal (CRO/CMO), Reactivity (Head of Marketing) and Firefly Networks (Product, Account Management). She has launched brands, created categories, build high-performance growth machines and nurtured hundreds of revenue leaders.

Originally from New Jersey, Joelle studied and performed at the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School. She’s lived in Boston, New York City, Sao Paulo and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, three kids (when they’re home), dog, and 1 chicken. Joelle is trained in the Art of Transformational Coaching and PQ Coaching (Positive Intelligence). She often collaborates with other Transformational Coaches to coach teams.

Joelle is a master facilitator as well as a dynamic, interactive, and entertaining speaker. Combining her 25 years as a technology leader with natural stage presence from fronting a rock band, Joelle cultivates transformational leaders, builds mental fitness, delivers impactful keynotes, sales kickoffs and podcasts.

Meta Senior Engineering Director

Mike leverages his expertise in data science to provide guidance on the analytics and data infrastructure for PiNK Test. He is currently the senior engineering director at Facebook where he is leading large engineering efforts. He has extensive expertise in various domains, including strategy, product definition, execution management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate execution. Mike’s experience extends at every stage of a startup’s journey, from inception to scaling, overseeing teams at all levels of the organization, from engineering to executive management which has contributed to his success in delivering remarkable results. His international exposure spans design management in China and India, as well as customer engagements in Europe, Japan, and Korea.

Ray Tabibiazar MD,
Business Development Strategy

Managing Director at 526 Ventures

Ray is a seasoned executive in healthcare and biopharma industry and draws upon his deep industry knowledge to shape the business development strategy for PiNK Test. His leadership experience included venture capital, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and life sciences. As a clinician-entrepreneur his efforts have focused on creating new ventures in form of new companies or spin-outs to translate innovative science into commercially viable products. Through his venture capital and finance experience at a large Venture Capital firm, he has also been involved in evaluation and management of novel technologies and investment opportunities. Prior to moving to the industry, Dr. Tabibiazar was a practicing cardiologist and an adjunct faculty at Stanford University having trained as a physician scientist at Harvard Medical School and a cardiologist at Stanford Medical Center.

Sy is a veteran in the digital health space and guides the development of digital health interfaces for the PiNK Test. He is currently Board Member and CEO of DeliverHealth a software, AI and services company that focuses on improving care and reducing burdens.

During more than 25-year professional technology and healthcare management, Sy has developed a reputation for ensuring successful services by exceeding customer expectations, increasing value, innovating solutions, and enhancing high-performing organizations. Along the way, he founded and was CEO of Whitespace Health, an advanced cloud analytics platform with solutions for the healthcare revenue cycle. Sy was also Senior Vice President of Operations at 3M M*Modal, VP Senior Director of Product Management at Microsoft, and had the role of Principal Consultant at Fujitsu.

Sheila Mikhail JD MBA,
Executive Leadership

Former AskBio CEO

Sheila leverages her over 20 years of biopharmaceutical leadership experience and guides the development roadmap of PiNK Test. She is a Co-Founder of Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. (AskBio), a company she started in 2001 and acquired by Bayer 2020. Six therapeutics were advanced into the clinic over Sheila’s tenure. Sheila has founded several additional entrepreneurial ventures in the life sciences sector, Bamboo Therapeutics (acquired by Pfizer in 2016), Viralgen Vectorcore SA (acquired by AskBio 2021), Chatham Therapeutics (acquired by Baxter (now Takeda) 2014), and Jurata Thin Film.

Ms. Mikhail has practiced law for more than 15 years. During that time, she founded Life Sciences Law which serviced clients including Bayer, Gilead, GSK, Sanofi and Aventis. She also practiced with Ropes and Gray in Boston. She earned a JD with honors from Northwestern University, a finance MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, and a BS with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Srinath Sridhar PhD,

Srinath advises on analytics and machine learning for PiNK Test. He is the founder and CEO of Regie.AI. Srinath Sridhar’s expertise, leadership, and ability to deliver groundbreaking solutions have positioned him as a highly respected professional in the AI and NLP domains. With the expected extraordinary progress in industrial applications of AI over the next decade, regie.ai aims to harness the extensive R&D efforts to assist businesses in optimizing their communication through effective content utilization.

Aside from his current role, Srinath has been actively involved in startup investments since 2009, demonstrating his deep commitment to fostering innovation in the industry. He also served as the CTO and Co-Founder of Onera, where his expertise played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success.
